AIS has launched the AIS SMART Pets Phone, a smart pet tracker and communication device, under the concept More Than Tracking, It's Caring. It upgrades from the AIS Pet Tracker to real-time connection and communication, combining communications and IoT technology so owners can track and communicate with their pets even when apart. It was unveiled for the first time at the Pet Run Club event at AIS SIAM, Siam Square. The device supports two-way video calls and voice calls, with an automatic response system and a Video Location function for viewing the surroundings around the pet. For tracking, it uses Real-Time Precision GPS, lets users set a Safe Zone and sends alerts when the pet leaves the area, and includes a Pet Flash Locator and a One-Touch SOS button. It has an IP67 waterproof rating and an 800 mAh battery that lasts up to 4 days of continuous use, with no monthly subscription fee. For connectivity, it supports the AIS One-2-Call! Gadget SIM, an annual data SIM for IoT devices with no long-term contract tie-in. The device weighs only 38 grams and is suitable for pets weighing 8 kilograms or more, with a 1-year product warranty. It is priced at 1,990 baht and available at AIS Shop and the AIS Online Store.
