Ameris Bank announced plans to establish operations in Nashville, Tennessee, expanding its commercial banking presence in one of the Southeast's fastest-growing markets. The company plans to open a Nashville office by year-end and is already serving commercial and mortgage customers throughout the region. Justin McClain joins as Nashville market leader, reporting to President Lawton Bassett, and brings nearly two decades of banking experience. He will be joined by experienced bankers Charlie Ogden and Jesse Lee. Ameris Bank operates 163 full-service banking locations and manages $28.1 billion in assets as of March 31, 2026.
