AsiaInfo Security released its 2026 interim report, showing operating revenue of 2.74 billion yuan, down 12.4 percent year on year. Net profit attributable to the parent swung from a loss of 356 million yuan a year earlier to a loss of 255 million yuan, narrowing the deficit. Net profit attributable to the parent after deducting non-recurring items widened from a loss of 252 million yuan a year earlier to a loss of 261 million yuan. In the second quarter, operating revenue was 1.53 billion yuan, down 16.8 percent year on year. Net profit attributable to the parent narrowed from a loss of 129 million yuan a year earlier to a loss of 69.13 million yuan. Net profit attributable to the parent after deducting non-recurring items widened from a loss of 22.92 million yuan a year earlier to a loss of 70.9 million yuan. As of the end of the second quarter, total assets stood at 10.79 billion yuan, down 7.5 percent from the end of the previous year. Net assets attributable to the parent were 1.458 billion yuan, down 16.1 percent from the end of the previous year. In the interim report, the company noted that its cybersecurity business continued to improve, generating operating revenue of 540 million yuan in the reporting period, up 6 percent year on year, with gross margin reaching a record high and total expenses across three categories falling 10.1 percent year on year.
