Bangkok Asset Management, or BAM, announced that the company has closed a deal to sell an NPA asset, one of its finest plots of land, measuring nearly 500 rai on Koh Yao Yai in Phang Nga province. The company said the deal qualifies as Deal of the Year. Previously, BAM launched a year-long asset sales campaign for 2026 comprising 32 items worth 1.742 billion baht, to be held on April 28. The campaign brings together prime, golden-location assets nationwide across commercial, investment, and residential categories, totaling 32 items with a combined starting auction value of 1.742 billion baht. One of the assets included in the campaign is a vacant plot of 462-2-16 rai on Koh Yao Yai in Pru Nai subdistrict, Koh Yao district, Phang Nga province, with a starting auction price of 274 million baht. During 2023-2024, analysts from several firms noted that BAM's land on Koh Yao Yai in Phang Nga province was one of the large, high-value NPA assets, with an estimated sale value of nearly 1 billion baht, and it was positioned as a key positive factor for the company's operating results.
