Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Public Company Limited, or BAM, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Department of Agriculture to support welfare and promote housing security for the department's personnel. Dr. Ruk Vorakitpokatorn, Chief Executive Officer of BAM, signed the agreement together with Mr. Raphiphat Chantharasriwong, Director-General of the Department of Agriculture. The collaboration is carried out through the welfare asset project "Baan Phuea (N) Khon Tham-ngan," which BAM established to support housing for personnel of both government and private sector organizations. It offers a variety of non-performing assets, or NPA, across the country, including detached houses, townhouses, condominiums, commercial buildings, and vacant land, under special conditions and privileges. In addition, BAM is ready to assist Department of Agriculture personnel who have non-performing loans, or NPL, under the company's management, allowing them to negotiate debt settlements or restructure their debts under flexible, lenient, and fair guidelines. Dr. Ruk said this collaboration reflects BAM's role in using its expertise in NPA and NPL management to deliver tangible benefits to the public, viewing a home not merely as an asset but as the foundation of security and quality of life.
