Beijing Beilu Pharmaceutical announced that its pioglitazone and metformin hydrochloride oral immediate-release formulation has been tentatively selected for the 12th National Centralized Drug Procurement. The product is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, with the declared specification containing 15 mg of pioglitazone hydrochloride and 500 mg of metformin hydrochloride per tablet. The procurement period runs from the implementation date of the selection results until December 31, 2029. In the first quarter of 2026, Beijing Beilu Pharmaceutical achieved revenue of 320 million yuan and net profit attributable to the parent company of 44.98 million yuan.
