Cabot Corporation has published its 2026 Sustainability Report, detailing final progress against its 2025 Sustainability Goals and early advances toward its 2030 targets. By the end of 2025, the company achieved 14 of its 15 2025 goals, with 11 met ahead of schedule. The report highlights a new beneficial reuse pathway at its Franklin, Louisiana facility that cut nonhazardous landfill waste at the site by 87% and contributed to a 70% global reduction in such waste from 2024 to 2025. Cabot also completed an industry-wide life cycle assessment methodology for furnace carbon black with the International Carbon Black Association and plans to develop a proprietary tool to track product carbon footprints across its entire portfolio. The report was prepared in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative Standards and supports the company's participation in the United Nations Global Compact.
