Summary · why it matters

Central Plaza Hotel Public Company Limited, or CENTEL, expects its fourth-quarter 2026 performance to be the strongest quarter of the year, driven by a host of international events and major festivals. These include China's Golden Week from October 1-7, 2026, the Global Economic Forum Bangkok 2026 Annual Meeting from October 10-14, 2026, the Tomorrowland music festival from December 11-13, 2026, and New Year countdown celebrations. This is reflected in on-the-book reservations at Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya for October 1-9, 2026, which have surged above 75% compared with the October monthly average of roughly 40-50%. For December 11-13, 2026, bookings have surged above 85% against the current average of about 45%. Centara Grand at CentralWorld has seen bookings for October 10-14, 2026, accelerate to nearly 70% from a monthly average of about 40-50%. Kan Srisompong, Chief Financial Officer of CENTEL, said the government's decision to postpone the launch of the Thai Tiew Thai Plus program to around the second quarter of 2027, from an earlier expectation of around the fourth quarter of 2026, is an appropriate approach because it will help stimulate tourism during next year's low season. Asia Plus Securities said in an analysis that fourth-quarter 2026 RevPar is expected to grow 7-9%, including Dubai, driven by mid-teens growth at Thai hotels and roughly 30-40% expansion in the Maldives. It forecast full-year 2026 net profit of 2.222 billion baht, up 18.2%, and maintained a buy recommendation with a fair value of 50 baht. It expects net profit to grow 10% to 2.444 billion baht in 2027 and 11.30% to 2.720 billion baht in 2028.
