Cisco Systems IncCisco won a multiyear deal to supply nearly 1,000 Catalyst switches and its full stack for Notre Dame's campus network.

Cisco Systems secured a multiyear deal to overhaul connectivity across Notre Dame's athletics facilities and wider campus, anchored by nearly 1,000 Catalyst 9300X switches supported by Catalyst Center, ThousandEyes and Cisco Professional Services. The enterprise-networking and cybersecurity giant's shares fell about 0.6% to $105.81 at 10.31am ET on Thursday morning. Notre Dame gives Cisco a prestigious showcase for its full technology stack, potentially opening doors at other universities and large institutions. The valuation leaves little room for a routine win, however, with the stock trading 41.61% above its $74.72 GF Value estimate. With no contract value, margin contribution or recurring-revenue impact disclosed, the deal strengthens Cisco's credibility before it materially changes the numbers.
