Civil Engineering Public Company Limited, or CIVIL, reported a net loss of 71 million baht for the second quarter of 2026, bringing its first-half loss to 51 million baht. Although first-half revenue grew 9 percent to 2.455 billion baht, the company had to review and adjust cost estimates for some projects because of volatile energy and construction material prices stemming from the Middle East situation. The company has gradually recognized some compensation payments, known as K payments, from the public sector, and still has projects awaiting recognition under government criteria. Meanwhile, second-quarter administrative expenses fell 10 percent to 86 million baht, and first-half operating cash flow was 206 million baht, a turnaround from a negative 627 million baht a year earlier. In the first half, the company completed and delivered 10 projects worth a combined 1.529 billion baht, and in the second quarter it delivered 6 projects worth 1.29 billion baht, including one medium-sized road project delivered 8 months ahead of schedule.
