The Coca-Cola Company announced that Rob Gehring will become president of its North America operating unit effective Dec. 1, 2026. Gehring, 59, succeeds John Murphy, who has led the North America operating unit on an interim basis since Aug. 1, 2026, and who remains president and chief financial officer. Gehring returns to Coca-Cola after serving at Monster Energy Company, most recently as CEO, Americas since February 2026, where he oversaw North America, Latin America and Caribbean operations. He began his career in the Coca-Cola system in 1992 and later served as president of the Coca-Cola Walmart global team, as Global Chief Sales Officer at The Hershey Company, and as president and CEO of Swire Coca-Cola USA. Henrique Braun, CEO of The Coca-Cola Company, called Gehring a transformational leader with deep operations experience and said he looks forward to partnering with him to grow the North American business.
