CP Axtra is set to officially open the Happitat project, worth more than 15 billion baht, on 21 August, targeting an 85% occupancy rate for the shopping centre by the end of this year, higher than the original target of 80% by the end of 2026. Currently 197 brands have reserved space, with around 100 brands already open, and average daily visitors are expected to reach 50,000 to 80,000. The 10-storey Hilltop Offices building has about seven and a half floors reserved, representing an occupancy rate of more than 70%. If this first shopping centre project succeeds, the company plans to expand the business model to major provincial cities in the future.
