Charoen Pokphand Foods, or CPF, and its affiliate AXONS have won two awards at the Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2026, organised by Asian Business Review in Singapore, recognising their use of AI to boost efficiency, improve the employee experience and deliver concrete business results. CPF received the Thailand Technology Excellence Award for AI – Agriculture for its EZ HR Chatbot, an AI human resources assistant, while AXONS won the Thailand Technology Excellence Award 2026 in the AI – Manufacturing Technology category for AXONS Maintenance, an AI-driven maintenance management system. Pimonrat Reephattanavijitkul, Chief People Officer at CPF, said the EZ HR Chatbot handles more than 70,000 queries a month, cutting the time needed to find information by around 80% and saving a total of more than 4,667 working hours per month. Sompob Tangboonthina, Director of Technology and Delivery Management at AXONS, said AXONS Maintenance has reduced unplanned machine downtime by as much as 40% and cut maintenance costs by 30%.
