The Ministry of Defense, in collaboration with Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (AIS) and the Digital Government Development Agency (DGA), has launched a project to build cyber resilience and enhance AI skills, aiming to develop personnel and their families into "digital personnel" in support of the Digital Defense policy. Military personnel and government officials can learn through the DGA platform, which integrates AIS's "Cyber Safe: AI Literacy" course with government workforce development approaches. Meanwhile, families of military personnel and the general public can access the course through AIS's Cyber Safe platform, with further expansion through roadshow activities to military units in four regions, covering the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Lieutenant General Adul Boonthamcharoen, Minister of Defense, stated that this development aims to enhance capabilities in data management, situational analysis, and strategic decision-making to transform the Ministry of Defense into a data-driven and AI-powered organization. He emphasized that the goal is to create "intellectual weapons" for personnel. Ms. Kantima Lertlertyutitham, AIS's Chief Enterprise Business Officer, said that AIS Academy is advancing learning spaces to elevate digital skills for Thais. Ms. Airada Lueangwilai, Deputy Director and Acting Director of DGA, stated that TDGA supports the Digital Government Skills curriculum, covering AI literacy, data management, and AI ethics, through the Digital Government Learning Platform at tdga.dga.or.th, with online certificates awarded upon course completion.
