Summary · why it matters

Digi International announced the launch of the Digi EX60, a new indoor enterprise 5G router designed to make 5G a primary broadband option for branch offices, retail locations and distributed enterprises. The platform delivers 5G as either a primary connection or automatic failover for an existing wired link, with Dual SIM Dual Standby capability enabling failover up to 10x faster than traditional approaches. Digi EX60 is built around 3GPP Release 17 5G enhanced mobile broadband and carrier aggregation, with a 2.5 GbE WAN port, Wi-Fi 7, and a single-box architecture combining router, switch, Wi-Fi access point and edge computing. Centralized management runs through Digi Remote Manager, which includes a Model Context Protocol server for connecting an AI assistant of choice and Digi Remote Reach for single-click access to devices behind the router with no VPN, cloud proxy or added cost. Digi Artificial Network Intelligence, a purpose-built AI agent available as a value-added service, lets operators ask questions in plain language and identify potential issues before they cause downtime. Digi EX60, model EX60-5B-1N, is available beginning October 6, 2026, through Digi global sales channels and authorized partners as part of Digi 360, and at launch supports AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile networks.
