Summary · why it matters

Don Mueang Tollway Public Company Limited, or DMT, has announced an extension of the toll-free period on the Uttaraphimuk Elevated Highway, also known as the Don Mueang Tollway, through 24:00 on 29 September 2026, to ease the hardship of the public amid the flood situation and to give motorists who must avoid routes still affected by flooding an additional travel option. DMT also reported that the inbound Chaeng Watthana toll plaza remains flooded at a high level, and small cars should avoid that route, while lifted pickup trucks can still pass through. The same applies to the outbound Lak Si toll plaza, where flooding also remains high; small cars are advised to avoid the area, while lifted pickup trucks can pass through. DMT therefore urges motorists to monitor and check road conditions before setting out and to plan their journeys in advance, in order to avoid areas still deeply flooded and reduce the impact on their travel.
