Foton Motor disclosed its production and sales data for July 2026. Total vehicle sales for the month reached 51,800 units, up 12.64% year-on-year, while production came in at 47,900 units, up 18.91% year-on-year. For the first seven months of 2026, cumulative sales amounted to 412,200 units, up 10.38% year-on-year, and cumulative production reached 407,400 units, up 7.22% year-on-year. By vehicle type, light-duty truck sales in July were 34,800 units, up 19.03% year-on-year, medium- and heavy-duty truck sales were 13,100 units, up 8.26% year-on-year, and large bus sales were 237 units, up 139.39% year-on-year. In the new energy vehicle segment, July sales hit 11,300 units, up 44.83% year-on-year, and cumulative sales for the first seven months reached 70,400 units, up 21.48% year-on-year. Engine product sales in July were 29,300 units, up 50.88% year-on-year, of which the joint venture Foton Cummins sold 18,700 engines during the month.
