Grab Thailand has officially launched the Group Ride feature, supporting group travel with up to 4 pick-up and drop-off points. AI is used to plan routes and calculate per-person fares, helping users save up to 40%. Additionally, Grab EV services have been upgraded to offer fully electric vehicle rides, initially in Bangkok and major cities across Thailand. With Group Ride, the first user acts as the Host and shares a link for fellow travelers to specify their destinations. There are three payment options: Host pays for all, split equally, or split by distance. Discounts of 10-20% are available based on the number of pick-up and drop-off points, from now until December 31, 2026. Meanwhile, Grab EV offers a 15% discount, up to 100 baht, with the code GRABEV during the same period. Ms. Arisa Lorthongpaisan, Assistant Managing Director for Mobility and Driver Management at Grab Thailand, stated that over 60% of Gen Z and Millennials are willing to pay more for sustainability, and Grab EV Rides usage has increased by more than 35%, reflecting growing demand.
