HD Hyundai Heavy Industries reported a fatal industrial accident at an outsourcing dock within its Shipbuilding Business Unit. On July 19, the Busan Dongbu Branch of the Busan Regional Office of Employment and Labor issued a partial work suspension order, halting ship construction work within the dock. The accident occurred when a worker was caught between a gondola and an upper platform, and an on-site investigation by police and the Ministry of Employment and Labor is underway. Shares of HD Hyundai Heavy Industries fell 7.33% to 448,500 Korean won.
