HealthStream IncRecord Q2 revenue and EBITDA, raised full-year guidance, strong cash position

HealthStream reported record second-quarter results, with revenue rising 12.5% year over year to $83.7 million and adjusted EBITDA increasing 16.9% to a record $20.6 million. The company raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $327 million to $332 million and adjusted EBITDA guidance to $74 million to $78 million, while lowering its net-income outlook as it increases spending on career networks, product development, and the hStream platform. Growth was driven by core subscription products, recent acquisitions, and a nonrecurring $2 million revenue catch-up payment from a contingent-fee contract acquired in the 2020 ANSOS deal. HealthStream ended the quarter with $66.7 million in cash and investments, no long-term debt, and strong operating cash flow. Management said a recently disclosed cybersecurity incident has not disrupted operations or compromised customer-facing systems, though the investigation remains ongoing.
