Hongta Securities independent director Liao Ke has sadly passed away due to illness at the age of 36, having served for only about seven months. Liao Ke had been an independent director of the company since December 2025 and served on the board's audit committee and risk control committee. Following his passing, the number of board members has decreased from 14 to 13, with the number of independent directors falling below one-third of the board. The company will appoint a new independent director as soon as possible. During the transition period, the duties of the independent directors will be temporarily assumed by current independent directors Liu Yongqiang, Luo Meijuan, Li Yixiang, and Wang Yilin, and the company's operations will not be affected.
