IDEAYA Biosciences has elected President and CEO Yujiro S. Hata as Chairman of its Board of Directors. Hata, who founded the precision medicine oncology company over a decade ago, will continue to serve as President and CEO while assuming the chairmanship. Terry Rosen will serve as Lead Independent Director of the board. The company stated that Hata's vision and leadership have been central to its evolution from an early-stage startup to a firm with an extensive clinical pipeline and commercial launch preparations underway.
