IRPC Public Company Limited, or IRPC, has announced the appointment of SiriMet Leepakorn as Chief Executive Officer and President, effective from October 1, 2026 onwards. The company's board stated that this appointment reflects confidence in SiriMet's potential and experience in the energy, petroleum, and petrochemical businesses, which will play an important role in continuing operations and enhancing continuity in driving IRPC's business forward. SiriMet has more than 36 years of experience in the energy and petrochemical industries, covering engineering, business development, planning and strategy management, as well as organizational management. He previously served as Senior Executive Vice President of the Corporate Business Planning Division at IRPC, and has held positions within PTT Group companies, including Chief Operating Officer of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited, or GPSC, and Senior Executive Vice President of Special Business 3 – PTT Group Operational Excellence. SiriMet holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Chiang Mai University and a Master of Business Administration from Burapha University, and has completed executive and director programs from leading institutions, such as the Role of the Chairman Program (RCP50/2022) and the PTT Leadership Development Program (LDP II), Harvard Business School.
