KBR IncKBR appoints Rami Qasem to its board, a governance change tied to its planned Mission Technology Solutions spin-off as Trinzic.

KBR announced the appointment of Rami Qasem to its board of directors, effective October 1, 2026. Qasem, 59, is a global energy, technology and industrial executive with nearly 30 years of international leadership experience, having served as Chief Executive Officer of APEX Industrial Services from 2025 to February 2026 and as Managing Director of Energy Capital Group during that same period. He was previously Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of BeyondAI from 2023 to 2025, Chief Operations Officer of COP28 UAE during 2023, and Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Digital Solutions at Baker Hughes from 2017 to 2023, after 21 years at General Electric. KBR board Chair, President and CEO Stuart Bradie said Qasem's broad executive background and forward-looking perspective will be valuable additions to the board. The appointment comes as KBR progresses toward the planned separation of its Mission Technology Solutions business in January 2027, which is expected to be spun off as an independent public company under the new name Trinzic, launching with more than $5 billion in annual revenue and 18,000 employees.
