Krungthai Card PCLQ2 net profit beat expectations, broker raised target price to 50 baht, and estimates were lifted.

KTC shares rose 5.76% to 41.25 baht, bucking the market trend, after reporting second-quarter 2026 net profit of 2.225 billion baht, up 17% from a year earlier and about 6% above analyst expectations. The result was driven by higher interest income, lower financial costs, and operating expenses and provisioning charges that came in below forecasts. Krungsri Securities maintained a buy rating and raised its 2026 target price to 50 baht from 39 baht, while naming KTC its top pick in the consumer finance sector due to strong asset quality. Gross non-performing loans fell 4% from the previous quarter, pushing the NPL ratio down to 1.86%, with a coverage ratio of 426%. The research team lifted its 2026 to 2028 net profit estimates by about 7% per year, forecasting 2026 net profit of 8.746 billion baht and a 2026 dividend yield of around 5%.
