The sharp improvement in profitability was driven by the absence of large-scale development costs in the digital content business, which swung to a profit of 382 million yen. The amusement business was led by Pokémon Kids amusement machines, while the music and video business saw higher revenue and profit thanks to strong performances from Pretty Cure-related content and stage productions. The company maintained its full-year forecast of 30 billion yen in revenue and 3 billion yen in operating profit.
