MGP Ingredients has hired four drinks industry veterans to accelerate growth. Tom Neiheisel becomes vice president of sales for the Distilling Solutions segment, which saw sales tumble 42% year on year to $29.2 million in the second quarter. Sol Clahane joins as managing director of national accounts, Marilyn Chen as brand director for Penelope Bourbon, and David Sanders as vice president of financial planning and analysis. The company reported a 15% decline in group sales to $124.4 million for the second quarter and reaffirmed its 2026 forecast of total sales between $480 million and $500 million, down from $536.4 million in 2025.
