MeorientCancellation of UAE exhibition due to geopolitical conflicts leads to projected first-half loss.

Mio Convention & Exhibition projects a net loss attributable to the parent company of 13 million to 18 million yuan for the first half of 2026, compared with a profit of 15.54 million yuan in the same period last year. The company attributed the decline mainly to the cancellation of an offline exhibition originally planned for June in the United Arab Emirates, which was to feature around one thousand booths, due to international geopolitical conflicts. The company's performance had already shown signs of weakness, with net profit attributable to the parent company falling 17.55 percent and 11.89 percent year on year in 2024 and 2025 respectively. As of the close on July 10, Mio Convention & Exhibition shares stood at 8.42 yuan, a decline of 37.26 percent for the year.
