Nike reported a 4% year-over-year decline in first-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue, which came in at $11.2 billion, while gross margin expanded 60 basis points to 42.8% and diluted earnings slipped to $0.48 per share from $0.49 a year earlier. Revenue in China fell 26% year over year, though North America revenue rose 2% even as NIKE Direct revenue in the region declined 6%. Management guided full-year topline to contract at a high-single-digit rate and projected adjusted diluted earnings of $1.15 to $1.35 per share, and introduced its multiyear Pace Transformation Plan, which aims to yield cumulative savings of around $2.5 billion through fiscal 2031.
