PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited, known as OR, signed a joint investment agreement with Centara Hotels & Resorts in April 2026 to develop budget hotels, with OR holding a 49 percent stake and Centara holding 51 percent. The project will develop hotels on potential sites both inside and outside PTT Station service areas, which have a network spread along main routes nationwide. In the first phase, it will pilot six model hotels in potential locations: Phuket, Kanchanaburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Songkhla (Hat Yai), Chonburi, and Bangkok. These hotels start at only 800 to 1,300 baht per night, with full amenities and universal design accessibility. They are expected to gradually open between 2027 and 2028, with a goal of expanding to 50 locations by 2031. Mom Luang Pichthong Thongyai, Chief Executive Officer of OR, said the operation reflects the concept of 'OR fills opportunities, good, good, good,' aiming to create a good environment, good communities, and good growth together with partners and society in a sustainable way.
