PTG Energy PCLPTG's JV with Phaisan Capital targets a 10bn baht truck loan portfolio and an IPO filing in early 2027, expanding its non-oil business.

PTG Energy, or PTG, has formed a joint venture with Phaisan Capital, holding a 33.33% stake since 2024, to extend its non-oil business into used truck loans. Sukrit Rianpinyawat, Chief Executive Officer of Phaisan Capital, disclosed that the company aims to expand its loan portfolio from 3.7 billion baht to 10 billion baht within no more than five years after listing on the stock exchange. Currently, more than 90% of the portfolio consists of truck hire-purchase loans, and since PTG joined as a partner, the business has seen portfolio growth of around 25 to 30%. The company plans to file its filing with general investors in early 2027 and targets listing on the SET within the third quarter of 2027. After the IPO, PTG's stake will decrease to approximately 25% from 33.33%. Phaisan Capital currently has nine branches including its head office, covering the northern, northeastern, central, western, and eastern regions, and keeps its NPL ratio at around 3 to 4%.
