PTT Public Company LimitedPTT announced a higher interim dividend of 1.40 baht per share versus 0.90 baht a year earlier.

PTT Public Company Limited, or PTT, has announced an interim dividend for its first-half 2026 results of 1.40 baht per share, with an ex-dividend date of 7 October 2026, a record date of 8 October 2026, and a payment date of 22 October 2026. That represents a half-year dividend yield of about 3.3%, higher than the 0.90 baht per share paid in the first half of 2025 and the 2.30 baht per share paid for the full year 2025. Separately, PTT's board of directors, meeting on 24 September 2026, approved the sale of 238.66 million treasury shares held for financial management, representing no more than 0.84% of total issued and sold shares, to be sold through automatic order matching on the Stock Exchange of Thailand trading system from 28 September 2026 to 12 October 2026. PTT had previously carried out a share buyback of 238.66 million shares between 24 March and 23 September 2025 for 7.549 billion baht, or an average price of about 31.63 baht per share. Against PTT's current share price of 43.00 baht, that implies a gain of roughly 1.17 billion to 2.71 billion baht. Selling through automatic order matching means PTT will gradually feed sell orders into the normal board like any ordinary investor, with the selling price set by the market at the time, subject to a floor of no less than 85% of the average closing price over the five trading days before the transaction date. If the shares are not fully sold by the deadline, the company will reduce its registered capital. Research from Asia Plus Securities noted that announcing the treasury share sale at the same time as the ex-dividend date could worry investors, but the impact is expected to be insignificant because the shares being sold represent only 0.84% of the total. It maintained its 2027 earnings estimate and fair value of 48 baht per share, and continues to favour PTT as a holding company with diversified businesses that generate stable profits, offering an attractive high dividend, while the current share price still lags well behind its subsidiaries.
