That represents about 69.33% of SOL's total supply at the time of publication, and calculated at the 30-day moving average price of $105.86, it comes to the equivalent of about $297 million. The increase came even as the staking reward rate fell 3.28 percentage points to 5.08%, indicating the strength of holders' conviction. On September 15, the Solana Foundation announced that it had raised the layer 1 network's maximum transaction size from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes, which took effect on the mainnet at the start of epoch 1,035.
