TGS has announced the Atlantic Margin South Reprocessing project in the Norwegian Sea. The project covers more than 23,000 square kilometers of 3D data over an underexplored part of the Norwegian continental shelf. The data will undergo a comprehensive pre-stack depth migration flow to address imaging challenges from volcanic rocks, incorporating advanced machine learning-based denoising, adaptive demultiple, and Dynamic Matching elastic Full Waveform Inversion. Interim products will be available in Q3 2026, with the full integrity volume expected in Q2 2027. The project is supported by industry funding.
