TOMY will showcase three popular brands at Anime Expo 2026, its largest U.S. consumer event, driving product demand and brand engagement.
TOMY Company, also known as TAKARATOMY, announced it will bring three of its most popular Japan-born brands to Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles from July 2 to 5. The century-old Japanese toy and entertainment company will showcase BEYBLADE X, Licca-chan, and Gacha as part of its largest consumer-facing moment in the U.S. market to date. BEYBLADE X, which has shipped more than 560 million units worldwide, will host the standalone BEYBLADE X ANIME EXPO CUP 2026 tournament on July 4, along with live battles against the development team and a free-play area. Licca-chan, Japan's iconic doll since 1967 with approximately 69 million units sold, makes its Anime Expo debut and will premiere two products from the Hatsune Miku collaboration, including an exclusive pre-sale of Licca HATSUNE MIKU. The Gacha capsule-toy brand from T-ARTS Company will offer machine-themed activities and merchandise from more than 80 Gacha machines. The group has named regional expansion a core priority as Japan's entertainment market could grow into the tens of trillions of yen, or more than US$100 billion.
