True Corporation is preparing its 5G, 4G and WiFi networks along both banks of the Chao Phraya River, from Krung Thon Bridge to Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchaworamahawihan, to support the public coming to watch the Royal Barge Procession of 2026 during the royal journey to perform the royal merit-making ceremony of presenting the Kathin robes at Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchaworamahawihan on Friday, November 6, 2026, on the occasion of the royal ceremony celebrating the fourth-cycle birthday of Her Majesty the Queen. This event includes a total of 10 minor rehearsals and 2 full-dress rehearsals on October 21 and 28, 2026. The network engineering team has surveyed the area and checked signal quality, focusing on viewing points, key traffic routes, piers, temples, public parks, activity grounds and transport connection points, while building on experience from network management in 2024 and combining real usage data with data from each rehearsal to determine capacity enhancement points and tune the network to handle large numbers of simultaneous users, especially the sending of images, video and live streams via social media and communication through various applications. Network enhancement measures include boosting 5G and 4G network capacity, preparing COW rapid-deployment mobile base station vehicles for high-density areas, preparing temporary sites in key areas and areas with installation constraints, enhancing WiFi at key points, tuning network parameters for activity areas based on real usage data, using AI to analyze and manage the network, and monitoring through the BNIC intelligent network operations center around the clock together with on-site engineering teams.
