Universal Technical Institute announced the expansion of its HVACR program to its Lisle, Illinois campus. The nine-month diploma program is now offered at UTI campuses in eight states, with the Atlanta campus set to add it when it opens in summer 2026. The hands-on training prepares students for entry-level roles in residential and commercial heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration. UTI Division President Tracy Lorenz said the expansion addresses ongoing technician shortages and supports the company's North Star Strategy to tackle America's labor gaps.
