Zhifei Biological announced that the freeze-dried human rabies vaccine (ZFB-3 cells) developed by its wholly-owned subsidiary Zhifei Longkema has been accepted for clinical trial application by the National Medical Products Administration. The vaccine uses a self-developed human diploid cell line as the production substrate, theoretically resulting in a lower incidence of adverse reactions and no tumorigenic risk. If progress goes smoothly, it will enrich the company's viral vaccine portfolio, but it will have no significant impact on near-term performance.
