Skanska Wins US$84 Million Georgia Data Center Contract

Skanska has secured a US$84 million contract to build a large data center in Georgia, expanding its US construction pipeline and adding to third quarter 2026 order bookings. The win joins a cluster of sizeable infrastructure and office projects in Norway and Poland, and the company's record-high order backlog stands at SEK 268 billion, equal to 19 months of production, with book-to-bill ratios above 100% across all geographies. On the most followed valuation view, Skanska's fair value of SEK277.50 sits just below the latest close of SEK280.60, leaving the stock about 1% overvalued, while it still trades at an intrinsic value discount of roughly 18%. The shares trade on 17.5x earnings, above the European Construction average of 15.5x but below the peer average of 19.7x and a fair ratio of 24.8x. Weak Nordic property markets and delayed US commercial asset sales could pressure margins and cash generation if those conditions persist longer than analysts expect.
