It also engages in membership cards, video-on-demand, advertising, vertical application, and other businesses, and distributes TCL branded air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, and other household appliances. The company was formerly known as TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings Limited and changed its name to TCL Electronics Holdings Limited in June 2018. Incorporated in 1999, it is based in Sha Tin, Hong Kong, and operates as a subsidiary of T.C.L. Industries Holdings (H.K.) Limited.

Minimax to raise approximately HK$15.957 billion; Zijin Mining and TCL Electronics forecast sharp profit growth

Minimax has announced plans to raise a net total of approximately HK$15.957 billion through a private placement and issuance of convertible bonds. Around 80% of the proceeds will be used to strengthen AI infrastructure and model research and development, with 10% allocated to the global expansion of its AI agent Harness. Zijin Mining Group has indicated that its net profit for the interim results ending June 2026 is expected to be approximately 39.1 billion yuan, up 68% year-on-year.
