LINTEC Corporation manufactures and sells adhesive-related products in Japan. Its offerings include printing and variable information products such as adhesive papers and films for seals and labels, barcode label supplies, and digital label printing machines; industrial and automotive adhesive products, barcode printers, and labeling machines; and construction-related products including window and automotive films, large-format printing products, marking films, and interior finishing mounting sheets. The company also provides semiconductor and multilayer ceramic capacitor adhesive tapes and equipment, optical products such as touch screen and LCD adhesives, and various specialty papers. It was formerly known as FSK Corporation and changed its name to LINTEC Corporation in April 1990. Founded in 1927, it is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.

Nippon Paper to Book Special Gain on Sale of Lintec Shares

Nippon Paper Industries announced it will sell roughly 20 million shares it holds in Lintec through a secondary offering and book a special gain in the fiscal year ending March 2027. The company said it determined that selling the Lintec shares will help improve capital efficiency and contribute to enhancing the medium- to long-term corporate value of both companies. It said the impact on earnings will be disclosed promptly as necessary once the gain on sale is finalized.
