Hyperliquid Crosses $1 Billion in Cumulative Protocol Revenue
Hyperliquid has surpassed $1 billion in cumulative protocol revenue as of June 30, less than two years after launch. The decentralized perpetual futures platform generated over $210.5 billion in trading volume over the 30 days ending July 7, with 91% of revenue coming from transaction fees. Nearly all of that fee revenue—99%—is used to buy back and burn its HYPE token, resulting in 4.7% of the maximum supply already destroyed. Despite rising competition from venues like Lighter and Aster, Hyperliquid now holds 6.2% of the global perpetuals market by volume and 70% of the decentralized perpetuals market.
