Banner Reports Higher Earnings, Holds Dividend, and Is Seen as 4.6% Undervalued

Banner Corporation reported higher net interest income and net income for the second quarter and year to date, while affirming its quarterly dividend of $0.52 per share. The stock has delivered a 12.52% year-to-date share price return and a 64.32% total shareholder return over three years. According to Simply Wall St's most-followed narrative, Banner's fair value is estimated at $73.67, implying a 4.6% undervaluation versus the last close of $70.29. The valuation is supported by expectations that investments in new deposit and loan origination systems and digitization will reduce costs and expand customer reach, while robust loan growth in owner-occupied commercial real estate, C&I, construction, and small business lending drives top-line expansion. Key risks include concentration in commercial real estate and construction lending, and periods when loan growth outpaces deposit growth, which could pressure credit quality and funding costs.
BANR · Capital · Positive Higher net interest income and net income, affirmed dividend, and analyst valuation implying 4.6% upside.
