Innventure Targets $3.2 Million Quarterly Parent Costs, Shifts Focus to Accelsius
Innventure announced on September 21 that it is concentrating on its Accelsius subsidiary while cutting parent-company expenses, targeting quarterly parent-level cash costs of approximately $3.2 million by year-end, down from $7.5 million at the beginning of 2026, a potential quarterly reduction of about $4.3 million. The August restructuring plan called for ending spending on new-company evaluation and formation as well as parent-level research and development, freeing resources for Accelsius, which develops two-phase, direct-to-chip liquid cooling for AI data centers. The $3.2 million target excludes debt service, severance, litigation and certain other nonrecurring expenses and covers only parent-level spending, not total group cash consumption. Innventure used $59.5 million in consolidated operating cash during the first half of 2026, up from $36.8 million a year earlier, and held $41.5 million in consolidated cash and cash equivalents as of June 30 plus $5 million in restricted cash, while its second-quarter filing disclosed substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern within one year. In August management suspended Accelsius's 2026 revenue and cash-flow targets, citing constraints affecting early customers including power availability, access to graphics processors and deployment schedules, and the company said future financing could dilute shareholders or add debt-service obligations.
