Nordex SE develops, manufactures, and distributes multi-megawatt onshore wind turbines across Europe, North America, Latin America, and other international markets. It operates through the Projects and Services segments and offers the Delta4000 and Delta turbine platforms. The company also provides project development, maintenance and repair, spare parts, remote monitoring for wind farms, upgrades, and technical and efficiency enhancements for existing turbines. Incorporated in 1985, Nordex SE is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, with a production facility in Izmir, Türkiye.

Nordex Secures 525 MW Wind Turbine Order in Türkiye

Nordex Group has secured an order from Türkerler Holding to supply and install wind turbines with a total capacity of about 525 megawatts in Türkiye. The contract covers the supply and installation of 72 N175/6.X turbines for the YEKA-5 R25 Sivas wind project in Sivas, with installation of the first unit scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2027. The deal includes a 10-year Premium Service agreement, with an option to extend the service period to 25 years, and the turbines will be installed with 108-meter hub heights. Nordex said the order further strengthens its position in the Turkish wind market, where it holds a cumulative market share of 34 percent.

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners has reached financial close on the 392 megawatt Pestera II onshore wind project in Constanța County, Romania, through its Growth Markets Fund II.
