It offers broadband, video, telephony, and mobile services to residential and business customers, including video programming, VoIP, Ethernet, data transport, VPNs, and managed services. The company also provides advertising solutions, news programming, and data analytics, and operates news channels under the News 12 Networks names. Formerly known as Altice USA, Inc., it changed its name to Optimum Communications, Inc. in November 2025, was incorporated in 2015, and is headquartered in Long Island City, New York.

Multi-year carriage deals help cable operators protect their programming slate and reduce the risk of channel blackouts that can push subscribers to cancel or switch providers. The stock is down 37.5% since the beginning of the year and, at $1.08 per share, trades 60% below its 52-week high of $2.69 from October 2025. The move follows a 4.9% gain 27 days ago, when the company announced the completion of a $6 million investment to strengthen its network infrastructure in Lubbock, Texas, including an approximately 100-mile fiber ring.

Optimum Announces $14M Fiber Network Investment in East Brunswick and South River, New Jersey

Optimum today announced the planned deployment of its 100% fiber-to-the-home network in East Brunswick and South River, New Jersey, backed by a $14 million network investment that will bring the company's fastest internet speeds to thousands of residents and businesses for the very first time.
