SEC warns investors to withdraw assets from Holdstation and UNO before platforms shut down on 1 October 2026
The Securities and Exchange Commission, or SEC, is warning investors to withdraw or transfer their assets out of the Holdstation and UNO applications, which are not authorised to conduct digital asset business, before the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society blocks access to both platforms on 1 October 2026. On 1 September 2026, the SEC submitted information on the access channels related to both applications to the Ministry of Digital Affairs. The blocking is in line with the Emergency Decree on Measures to Prevent and Suppress Technology Crimes, No. 2, B.E. 2568, which took effect on 13 April 2025 and empowers the Ministry of Digital Affairs to order the blocking of access to unauthorised digital asset trading platforms. The SEC also warns the public to exercise caution when using services with unauthorised digital asset business operators, and to check the list at Investor Alert and verify licensed operators at the website www.sec.or.th and the SEC Check First application, or report suspicious leads to the Complaint and Tip-off Centre on 1207, as well as the SEC Facebook page and SEC Live Chat.
