UroGen Signs Option and License Deal With IntraGel, Investing Up to $7 Million

UroGen Pharma announced an Option and Research License Agreement with IntraGel Therapeutics on August 20, paired with an investment of up to $7 million in IntraGel's equity. The deal grants UroGen a research license and options to develop as many as three oncology products built on IntraGel's SRGel platform, plus a separate option to eventually acquire TumoCure, an experimental head and neck cancer therapy still in clinical development. The agreement builds on UroGen's existing commercial franchise, after ZUSDURI generated $50.4 million in revenue for the second quarter of 2026, up 73% from the first quarter, alongside 1,444 activated sites of care and 452 unique prescribers. The IntraGel arrangement remains an option rather than a completed acquisition, and the TumoCure option only becomes exercisable once IntraGel finishes a Phase 2 trial that has not yet started. Short interest in UroGen sits at 13.04% of the float, and shares traded at 37.88 times forward earnings as of September 22.
