WASH Air-Conditions 100 Branches, Boosting WashXpress Service Usage by 15%

Laundry You Public Company Limited, or WASH, disclosed that WashXpress branches equipped with air conditioning saw service usage rise by an average of more than 15% compared with the period before installation. Chitsanupan Tangchalermkul, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder, said that completing air-conditioning installation at 100 branches was one of the company's key goals and received a better-than-expected response, and that the company plans to continue expanding installations in other areas. At the same time, the company aims to install solar power systems at 80 branches within the fourth quarter of 2026, having begun work in early September, in order to reduce the electricity costs that have risen due to the air-conditioning installations. WashXpress's delivery service currently covers more than 244 branches across 14 provinces, after adding 94 branches in the eastern and northeastern regions in September.

WASH Reports First-Half Revenue Growth of 10.64%, Continues to Install Air Conditioning in 100 Branches

WASH, or Laundry U Public Company Limited, the leader in the full-service self-service laundry business under the WashXpress brand, announced its operating results for the first six months of 2026, with total revenue of 524.57 million baht, a growth of 10.64%. The company has installed air conditioning in 70 branches, against a target of 100 branches this year, and branches with air conditioning have seen revenue growth 15% higher than regular branches. Meanwhile, it continues to invest in solar rooftops to manage energy costs and expand its delivery service for pick-up and drop-off laundry, which now covers over 162 branches in Bangkok and its vicinity. For the second half of the year, the company expects its performance to grow better than the first half, especially in the third quarter, which is the rainy season when customers use laundry services more. Additionally, new branches and expanded services will support continuous growth.

WASH reports Q2 2026 profit down 59.43% on surging branch expansion costs

Laundry You Public Company Limited, or WASH, reported second-quarter 2026 net profit of 13.15 million baht, down 59.43% from the same period last year, due to higher operating costs from continued new branch expansion and upgrades of existing branches. For the first six months of 2026, net profit was 32.32 million baht, down 36.53% from a year earlier. CEO and co-founder Chisanuphan Tangchalermkul said the company opened 53 new branches in the first half, up from 34 in the same period last year, and revised its full-year 2026 new branch target down from 100 to 80 branches to align with market conditions and potential locations. Meanwhile, the company has installed air conditioning at 87 branches, up from 17 at the end of 2025, and plans to add another 30 branches to reach 100 by the third quarter of 2026. Branches with air conditioning posted same-store sales growth up to 15 percentage points above the company average. Same-store revenue growth for the first six months of 2026 fell 3.6%, and in the second quarter of 2026 fell 8.8%, due to a high base from unusually heavy rainfall last year, along with a slowing economy and weaker consumer purchasing power. However, total assets as of 30 June 2026 stood at 2,825.52 million baht, up 4.01% from the end of 2025, while the company maintained an appropriate debt-to-equity ratio.
