農林水産省は10日、全国のスーパー約1000店舗で6月29日～7月5日に販売されたコメの5キロ当たり平均価格が前週より96円安い3458円だったと発表した。2週連続の下落で、2024年12月最終週以来1年半ぶりに3500円を下回った。販売数量の78％を占めた銘柄米の平均価格は前週より87円下落の3521円、ブレンド米は106円値下がりし3237円だった。
